Under 18's vs Ashfield Final Game of the season

The last day of the Season saw the club take on Ashfield SC.

The under 18's were level on points with Rockingham City and 6 goals better off before Kick Off.

However under controversial circumstances Rockingham was allowed to kick off 4 hours later at 3pm.

With the under 18's defeating Ashfield 5-3 on the day, Rockingham knew what they had to do due to their late kick off.

Now with an 8 goal better Goal Difference this meant Rockingham had to score 9 or more against Wanneroo. An under man Wanneroo turned up with only 10 players to start. Wanneroo then had 2 players sent off (reduced to 8) and Rockingham won 12-0 on the day which in it's self is a great achievement.

Well done to Chris Bates and the under 18's on a massive season, It was beyond anything the club would expected in our 1st season in the State League.

Also Congratulations to Captain Sam Cole on taking out the Under 18's 1st Division Best & Fairest award for the league & Vanus Kidane leading goal scorer for the league. Well done lads.
